After more than ten years of tweaking and improving the world-renown Buddy Davis 61', we started with a clean sheet of paper and created the all-new Buddy Davis 58' Sportfisherman. Just 1 ½ feet shorter than the legendary 61', the Buddy Davis 58' offers more luxurious accommodations thanks to her new, efficient arrangement plans. Each layout features 4 staterooms and 3 heads and can be modified to include a tackle room in lieu of a fourth cabin and/or third head. The new bottom was designed by the renowned Naval Architect, Don Blount incorporates a wider reverse angle chine and new hull form that provides a faster, dryer, and softer ride than ever before. New Buddy Davis 58 Sportfisherman With all new tooling and molds the 58' Buddy Davis is lighter, faster, and stronger than the 61' it replaces. Its hull shape and longitudinal center of gravity (LCG) are also better suited for today's high horsepower engines and top end speeds approaching 40 knots.
