Egg Harbor, NJ (May 20, 2008) Robert Weidhaas, COO announced today the
acquisition, through asset purchase, of Buddy Davis Edition Boats/Carolina Boatworks,
B&D. Included within the purchase are the 28 Center Console, 34 Center Console and 34 Express Deck.

Buddy Davis is now part of the Egg Harbor Group family. He will remain active with the
design and engineering teams along with the sales and marketing of all Buddy Davis
products in addition to all the Egg Harbor Group brands.
The strategic goal of the Davis acquisition was to compliment the existing Davis, Egg
Harbor, Topaz and Predator lines of cruising and fishing yachts by adding a high-end,
outboard line. "With the addition of the Buddy Davis Edition boats we can now cater to
the complete spectrum of boating enthusiasts," said Bob Hazard, Vice President, Sales & Marketing.

The production of Buddy Davis Edition boats will resume immediately under the new
ownership. "We are acutely aware of the strength of the Davis reputation and the
expectations of the buyer who demands nothing but the finest sportfishing boats on the
