Buddy Davis Boatworks, the Wanchese, N.C.-based builder of sportfishing boats, has named veteran fishing boat captain Bobby Reese to its sales and marketing staff. Reese, who will be called factory captain, will represent the company at boat shows, and in fishing tournaments and sea trials. He also will "develop and implement procedures for the on-site involvement of captain and owner representatives in the building process, coordinate all aspects of vessel deliveries, assist with final quality control and develop a Buddy Davis owners and captains advisory group." In addition, he will help train sales staff.
