Buddy
Davis' boats have been tournament winners for years, and this
is another one that's likely to continue the tradition.
Along
with all the sportfishing and high-performance features that
Buddy Davis is famous for, the 58 has been endowed with a hefty
amount of luxury.
The
standard accommodation plan includes a spacious master stateroom
with en suite head plus three additional cabins and two heads
for guests. In the saloon one finds an enormous L-shape sofa,
wet bar, cocktail table and fully equipped entertainment center.
However, for all this opulence, it would be a mistake to confuse
this boat for a conventional motoryacht dolled up with a tuna
tower and outriggers. The hull is solid fiberglass below the
waterline and cored Divinycell above it, with a one-piece
reinforced fiberglass superstructure.
Depending on the choice of powerplants, the Buddy Davis 58 will
move at speeds either near 40 knots or well beyond it.
